Shaft Mount Speed Reducer SMR 9 15/1

The SMR 9 15/1 shaft mount speed reducer covers large head shafts up to 4-15/16 inches while holding a 15:1 ratio. Use it where a size 8 bore or rating is not enough and the process still needs more belt speed than a 25:1 unit will give. It replaces TXT 915-style reducers and accepts standard TXT accessories.

Direct shaft mounting removes the coupling and most alignment time of a foot-mounted gearbox. The torque arm ships with the unit. Gears are case hardened and precision ground to AGMA standards. Extended gear centers, an FCD45 cast iron case, metal-reinforced double-lip seals, and tapered roller bearings support continuous heavy service.

Match the driven shaft with a box size 9 tapered bushing kit, sold separately.
