Specify the SMR 5 25/1 shaft mount speed reducer when a mid-size conveyor needs slower shaft speed than a 15:1 drive can deliver. The extra reduction helps on inclines, heavy startup, and applications where belt speed has to stay down without changing the motor.
It mounts on the driven shaft and accepts TXT-compatible tapered bushings, belt guards, and backstops. Housing is FCD45 cast iron. Gears are case hardened and precision ground to AGMA standards, with extended centers for tooth contact. Double-lip seals protect the oil in aggregate, recycling, and lumber environments.
Maximum bore is 2-15/16 inches. Match it with a box size 5 bushing kit. BG5 is the guard for this frame.
