Use the SMR 3 25/1 shaft mount speed reducer when a small conveyor or feeder needs more reduction than a 15:1 unit can give. The deeper ratio lowers output speed and multiplies torque, which helps on slower belts, inclines, and start-up loads without jumping to a larger box.
It is a TXT-compatible shaft mount that bolts on with the included torque arm and accepts standard TXT accessories. Gears are case hardened and precision ground to AGMA standards inside an FCD45 cast iron housing. Double-lip seals and tapered roller bearings are standard.
Maximum bore is 2-3/16 inches. Pair it with a box size 3 tapered bushing kit, sold separately, sized to the driven shaft. Belt guard BG3 covers this frame.
