The SMR 7 15/1 shaft mount speed reducer covers the top end of the sizes Belt Tech lists today. It fits driven shafts up to 3-15/16 inches and holds a 15:1 ratio for conveyors that move more material without dropping to the slower 25:1 output. It replaces TXT 715-style units and accepts matching TXT accessories.
Direct mounting on the head shaft cuts installation time versus a base-mounted reducer. The torque arm is included. Gears are high-grade steel, case hardened and precision ground to AGMA standards, with extended centers for load sharing. The FCD45 cast iron housing, double-lip seals, and tapered roller bearings are suited to mining, aggregate, cement, and recycling service.
Pair it with a box size 7 tapered bushing kit. BG7 is the matching belt guard.
