The SMR 3 15/1 is a shaft mount speed reducer built for compact conveyor, feeder, and small process drives where a TXT 315-style reducer is already in the layout. A 15:1 ratio gives higher output speed than the 25:1 twin, which is useful when belt speed matters more than extra torque multiplication.
It mounts directly on the driven shaft, so you skip a separate coupling and most of the alignment work that comes with a foot-mounted gearbox. The housing is heavy-duty FCD45 cast iron. Shafts and gears are high-grade steel, case hardened and precision ground to AGMA standards. Metal-reinforced double-lip seals keep oil in and grit out. Premium tapered roller bearings and extended gear centers support smoother running under load.
Maximum output bore is 2-3/16 inches. The torque arm is included. Order the matching box size 3 tapered bushing kit for the shaft diameter on the job. A BG3 belt guard is available if the drive needs guarding.
