Box size 5 is a workhorse frame for plant conveyors, stackers, and process belts. The SMR 5 15/1 shaft mount speed reducer keeps output speed higher than the 25:1 model while covering shafts up to 2-15/16 inches. It is dimensionally compatible with TXT 515 and with common crosses from Falk, Browning, and Hub City in this frame.

Direct shaft mounting removes the coupling and most alignment time. The included torque arm anchors the housing. Gears are high-grade steel, case hardened and ground to AGMA standards. The FCD45 cast iron case, double-lip seals, and tapered roller bearings are built for dusty, abrasive service.

Use a box size 5 tapered bushing kit, sold separately. BG5 belt guard assembles to the reducer and motor mount holes.
