Shaft Mount Speed Reducer SMR 8 15/1

The SMR 8 15/1 shaft mount speed reducer is the first frame above the size 7 range Belt Tech has listed. Use it on head shafts up to 4-7/16 inches when capacity has outgrown a size 7 and belt speed still calls for 15:1 rather than 25:1. It drops in on TXT 815 footprints and takes TXT-compatible bushings, guards, and backstops.

The reducer mounts on the driven shaft and is anchored by the included torque arm. High-grade steel gears are case hardened and precision ground to AGMA standards, with extended gear centers for tooth contact. The FCD45 cast iron housing, metal-reinforced double-lip seals, and tapered roller bearings suit aggregate, mining, recycling, and cement service.

Order a box size 8 tapered bushing kit for the actual shaft diameter. Ask Belt Tech about a matching guard if the drive needs one.
